I saw the plight of a co-founder of Safi Analytics and was wondering,how do you get kicked out of a company you started,your brainchild?What legal loopholes can someone look out for when entering in such partnerships and how do you go about ensuring your position in a company is not threatened by your partners.A friend told me to rewatch Silicon Valley,the series,but not sure it's the best place to get answers

We're partnering with someone who is entering into the partnership with us as a company,will nominate a director with zero shares.Not sure if we could find ourselves in the same situation as the Safi

The other co-founders have responded and indicated that he was only one in name not in ownership.

To reduce the likelihood of this happening startup founders, unless they have attended 5 years of legal classes at a university, should learn to seek legal advise even if only by searching on google.

You might be a full stack developer but that only applies to algorithms and loops and not English.

I plan to meet the aggrieved party later this week to get a better appreciation of what transpired as well as to see if I can assist him in going forward.
