The development landscape is changing, with an increasing number of private- and public-sector actors engaged in solving a myriad of global development challenges. We as youth want to apply our technical expertise and knowledge of developing economies to provide strategic advice to these diverse actors – from multinational companies entering new markets, to foundations seeking to implement innovative solutions . In the process many NGOs involved in youth programming globally continue to struggle with developing innovative and effective youth-focused interventions, especially in sectors such as agriculture where there are ample opportunities for youth employment and income generation. Existing organizational strategic plans often lack sufficient focus on youth-focused programs. To meet the youth needs especially in places like Kenya in Siaya where i come from and improve youth programming,it is imperative and important to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Client’s youth portfolio, including the strengths and weaknesses of current programming compared with current sector best practices, donor trends, and peer agency approaches to youth in agriculture. It is also important to provide recommendations for creating an organization-wide youth strategy to guide the Client’s future programming. Additionally, it would be very cost effective and efficient if youths were with provided with specific technical advice on how to improve the youth agriculture interventions across places like Siaya where i came from and other parts of Kenya and Africa. Whats your take?

So where do we start?
I have been to women and youth group meetings well some dont even know what a Start Up is... are we doing anything about it and do we want to do anything about it...no wonder lots of business and business ideas die a normal death simply because they dont know where to pitch these ideas or where to even start....I have been to the government portal that went ahead and mentioned that 30% of tenders should be given to youth and women...they have no idea of what a tender is and how a tender is even written, the procedure and where to take it once its done....in a nutshell when we go and have issues where the government goes saying they have given youths another 100 Billion for youths i fail to understand what we are really doing?
